Stephanie Washam was appointed to alderwoman in 2015. She moved to Brighton in 2004. She was born and raised in Tipton County. Stephanie is a 1992 Munford graduate. She is married to Joe. They have 3 children, Kristen, Kadence and Kase. She is a member of Covington Assembly of God. She serves in children ministry and hospitality. Stephanie serves as Brighton Elementary's PTO president and is on the leadership board. She is a member of Junior Auxiliary of Tipton County. Stephanie also serves on the Park and Recreation Board.
